Italia Conti: Training stars for 100 years

If you were to walk down Goswell Road and not notice The Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts I don’t think you could be blamed. Considering it’s the main centre for the oldest theatre arts school in Britain the building itself is rather understated. Only the logo-etched windows, a blue plaque by the door and the buzz of music filtering onto the street differentiate it from an ordinary office block. It’s anything but ordinary, however, and is this year celebrating its centenary.
